Where to eat? Port Salerno offers Italian, Thai, Chinese, Greek and Indian food cuisine

The historic fishing village of Port Salerno is deliberately located where the Atlantic Ocean, Indian River Lagoon and St. Lucie River meet. It was founded in 1894 and named Salerno in 1910 after many settlers who were immigrants from Salerno, Italy.

The working waterfront is known for its commercial and recreational fishing, along with other water-dependent businesses.

Aside from Port Salerno’s waterfront district, located on the Manatee Pocket, it is known for being home to the Chapman School of Seamanship, Fish House Art Center, Sandsprit Park and an eclectic mix of restaurants.

Here are Port Salerno’s restaurants, excluding the aforementioned Manatee Pocket restaurants.
