It’s that time of year—when I start dropping not-so-subtle hints to my family and friends about what I want for the holidays. This season, there’s only one thing on my radar—and it comes in a little white box.
Some people think fashion editors are difficult to shop for, because we have extremely singular tastes. While it sometimes rings true that I can be a little particular, there is one fail-safe holiday gift I’m always happy to receive: Pandora jewelry. A charm, a bracelet, a ring, or a chain—personally, I’m open to any, and all, of the above (just in case anyone was wondering).
The holiday wish list practically writes itself, but to give my nearest and dearest a helping hand, I’ve spelled out exactly what each of them could give me below.
Dear Mom,
We both know I have exquisite taste in jewelry. What can I say? I inherited it from you. With this stackable diamond ring, I’ll carry that fact with me through all of life’s biggest moments. And with any luck, I’ll finally stop stealing from your jewelry box.
Dear Dad,
Consider this your reminder that Mom isn’t the only woman in your life who delights in a nice piece of jewelry. This Cuban Chain Necklace is as “Timeless” as you are—and as pretty as I am. It’s the perfect Christmas gift for a father to give his daughter.
Dear Partner,
You make every holiday more special, and when we’re together, that’s the only gift I need. That being said, I wouldn’t refuse a sparkly little memento commemorating our time together. Buy me something nice and I promise I’ll wear it for our next date night.
Dear Sibling,
When I look back on the most magical holidays of my life, I don’t think of the gifts I opened or the food I ate. I think of you, and the joy on your face as you opened the present I chose for you. The best part of my Christmas is always being your Santa.
Dear Best Friend,
Remember when we were in elementary school, wearing our matching BFF necklaces? All these years later, our taste in jewelry has evolved, but one thing remains the same: our love for each other. Let’s upgrade the nostalgic symbol with diamonds this time.
