Elie Saab’s no-holds-barred approach to glamour has delivered some of the glitziest red carpet moments with stars like Zendaya and Beyoncé. Now, that signature glamour is within reach for the masses. The designer’s new H&M collection, available online and at select H&M stores starting today, bridges the gap between red-carpet dressing and everyday style, just in time for the holiday season.
“I was deeply involved in every step of the process and truly enjoyed immersing myself in all the details, approaching it with the same care and dedication as I would my own collection,” Saab said, after teasing the line with a star-studded fête at Paris Fashion Week in September. “It was important to me that each element felt considered, from the construction to the finishing touches.”
Evening wear, a Saab signature, is central to the 55-piece collection. Standouts include a draped midi dress with paillettes arranged in a dégradé pattern and an embellished bandeau gown with a disco-worthy leg slit. A showstopping sheer cape tied in a bow, meanwhile, is asking to be layered over the high-glam occasionwear. The collection also features a limited-run wedding gown and veil, available starting October 29, as an ode to Saab’s bridal know-how.
Still, Saab was mindful of versatility. Many of the pieces, like an emerald green peplum top or the expansive choice of blazers and leather and faux-fur jackets, can easily be dressed up and down. The accessories follow suit: playful rhinestone-embellished chandelier earrings, lace opera gloves, and textural footwear bring a little extra fun to event dressing—and everyday dressing, too.
“It was important for me to include pieces in the collection that reflect this signature and that sense of timeless glamour,” the designer explained. “At the same time, the house has evolved into something more complete. Today, it is about offering a full wardrobe, with tailoring, daywear, and more versatile pieces that respond to different moments in life.”
