Halloween season might be over but that hasn’t stopped Universal Orlando Resort announcing exciting new monster news.
The theme park has revealed that a brand new coaster will soon be coming to Epic Universe. Located in the Dark Universe section of the park, the new attraction will “immerse” guests in a brand new story themed to the classic Universal Monsters.
As of yet they have been tight-lipped on what we can expect from the new attraction, only that the new attraction is already under construction and will positioned next to Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment is in our opinion the jewel in the Epic Universe crown it comes to attractions. Dark Universe is already a practically perfect themed land so the announcement of this new attraction is frightfully good news! At the moment there is no opening date confirmed.

This is not the only horror themed attraction set to open at Universal Orlando Resort. Universal Studios’ beloved Horror Makeup Show featuring Blumhouse is due to reopen this year. Those behind updating the attraction have promised that it will have the same fun horror elements that went into making its past iterations so popular.
Coaster fans might have to wait a few years for the new Universal Monster themed ride, but with the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift opening in the resort next year, there are still screams to be had in 2027.
