Christian Bale praised Luka’s work as a photographer, model and aspiring director at the Madden premiere
The actor joked he would be more well-behaved on his daughter’s set because she intimidates him

Christian Bale is one proud father.
At the premiere of Madden in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Nov. 4, the actor, 52, spoke with E! News and shared that he’s so proud of his daughter Luka, 21, as she’s begun to step into the spotlight.
Bale, who shares his daughter and a son, whom he welcomed in 2014 with wife Sibi, says Luka is a creative photographer, model and director who will “absolutely” direct him one day.
“She’s incredibly talented as a photographer and as a model herself, and I do see her directing me one day,” Bale told the outlet. “She’s got an amazing mind. An amazing creative brain and incredible visions, et cetera. I’m so bloody proud of her.”

Bale went on to say that he might even “behave” better on his daughter’s set.
“I’d probably behave better for her than everybody else ever,” he joked. “I’m terrified.”

Bale and his wife, a former model and makeup artist, have kept their romance private over the years since they eloped in Las Vegas in 2000, but at the Culver City premiere in California, the two made a rare red carpet appearance wearing coordinating looks.
The actor, who plays Al Davis in the movie, wore a black suit and matching shirt, which complemented Sibi, who was dressed in a black pinstripe suit.

Although the couple doesn’t often speak about their kids in public, Bale has occasionally opened up about his wife and family to the media.
“I’ve got incredible pride for my family,” he told Esquire in 2010. “I’ve absolutely fallen into that cliché of a dad who could just happily talk about my daughter endlessly, but it’s not what I’m about in terms of being an actor. I don’t want people to know about that.”
In July 2025, Bale, Sibi and their son were photographed attending Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda show in Rome, Italy to support daughter Luka, who was walking in the fashion show. Bale could be seen sporting a shaved head and dark suit, posing next to Sibi.
On the other side of Sibi, the couple’s son wore a similar suit to his dad and walked alongside his parents into the show.
Luka also modeled in the fashion house’s 2021 show, and the following year, attended their presentation with her parents and younger brother.
