Nearly two years after finalizing their divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly found their way back to each other.
In late October 2026, sources told OK! that the couple has been “communicating regularly and providing emotional support for each other during an unexpectedly challenging period in both their lives.”

It’s currently unclear whether this “Bennifer” reunion will turn romantic for a third time. However, the insider noted that the former couple has “an extraordinary amount of history together, and that’s something neither of them can simply erase because their marriage ended.”
“They’ve known each other through some of the most important moments of their adult lives, and there’s a level of familiarity between them that would be difficult to replicate with anyone else,” the source continued. “For now, there’s clearly still considerable mutual respect between them, and that may ultimately be more important than whether they become a couple again.”
The insider added, “If they ever did consider giving romance another chance, they would need to approach it very differently. Neither would want to repeat the same cycle of intense public excitement followed by disappointment and separation. They would have to establish much clearer boundaries around their private lives and decide whether their expectations of a relationship were genuinely compatible.”

This latest update on Lopez and Affleck comes amid rumors that the “On the Floor” singer is dating her Office Romance co-star, Brett Goldstein. The two were spotted at a party together in Los Angeles on Friday, October 16.
Things between them are reportedly casual, but insiders told Rob Shuter that Lopez is “already dreaming of forever.”
“Jennifer is obsessed. She’s convinced Brett could be the one,” one told Shuter’s Naughty But Nice. “They’ve barely started dating, and she’s already planning their future. She will never learn!”
Other reports suggested that Lopez was actually getting cozy with Keith Urban. The pair allegedly got in touch after their respective divorces.
An insider told RadarOnline that they’ve “confided in one another” and really “seem to trust each other and feel comfortable opening up about their private situations and even their insecurities.”
The former American Idol judges have fueled romance rumors since their time on the singing competition series. Lopez and Urban were extremely close during their time on the show, which allegedly unnerved Urban’s then-wife, Nicole Kidman. A source claimed to Woman’s Day that Lopez “was the only one who got Nicole’s hackles up because their chemistry was off the charts.”
