Sam's Club Presents Its 2026 Member's Mark™ Thanksgiving Meal

I have always helped my mom in the kitchen during Thanksgiving, but I’ve never hosted the holiday by myself. This year I’m spearheading a 21-person Friendsgiving in New York City. So far it’s been fun to plan the menu and the weekend, but it’s also been stressful. Perhaps the biggest stressor, besides tackling my first turkey, is the cost.

If that’s also a stress for you, look no further than Sam’s Club. This year, the grocery chain is launching a meal kit that can serve up to 16 people for just $160 dollars and can be prepared in less than two hours. That means you could save both money and time with this deal. Here’s what you need to know.

Sam’s Club’s 2026 Thanksgiving Meal Kit Serves 16 for $10 a Person

Last week, Sam’s Club announced its 2026 Thanksgiving meal kit based on “nearly a year of member feedback.” It is the grocer’s biggest Thanksgiving kit yet, and it comes in at a little under $160 — so you can serve 16 people for less than $10 a person.

What Sam’s Club’s Thanksgiving meal kit includes:

  • Yukon Gold mashed potatoes

  • Green beans with dried cranberries and almonds (x2)

  • Sweet corn with garlic butter

  • Charcuterie entertainment tray

The Thanksgiving meal kit will become available on October 28, and members can add the item to their carts and actually customize it to add or remove dishes as they please. I think the item I would be most excited about is the charcuterie tray. I love a cheese board, but they definitely can add up when you’re buying all the aged cheeses and meats. This tray could be the difference between a hungry, hovering family member and a patient, seated guest. I also love that the kit comes with two portions of the green beans, mac and cheese, and pumpkin pies. Sides and desserts are some of my family’s favorite items.

What really caught my eye was the affordable price, but the time component is also a huge deal. According to the press release, the company estimated it would take someone 7 to 9 hours to prepare all of the food in this meal kit. Instead, you just need two hours to cook, heat, and serve all the dishes. That means you can actually spend this day gathered around the people in your life rather than cooking and cleaning up.

I have been extremely excited to plan my Friendsgiving menu filled with recipes from The Kitchn, but this Sam’s Club deal seems like it might actually be the move. Your wallet and nervous system might just thank you.
