Regardless of proudly owning 9 properties and having a considerable checking account, 80-year-old German man Heinz B. chooses to stay off meals present in trash cans.

Dubbed “the world’s most frugal millionaire,” Heinz B. might need simply 15 euros ($16.25) in his present account, a results of withdrawing 700,000 euros to amass his tenth property. He maintains one other 100,000 euros in a fixed-term financial savings account, reviews the Solar.

Discovering pleasure in salvaging meals from rubbish and amassing discarded objects, Heinz B. believes in a lifetime of frugality, asserting that he would not require cash for happiness.

Residing in Darmstadt, Germany, Heinz B. first captured media consideration in 2021 for seven homes, and two residences and had about 500,000 euros in his bank account. Inside three years, he expanded his portfolio to 10 properties, due to his financial savings.

The retired electrical engineer, previously a senior official in telecommunications, lives on a pension totaling 3,756 euros. But, he spends lower than 5 euros month-to-month on groceries, along with his solely different expense being web service for his laptop computer.

Heinz, with out instant household or siblings, is unsure about the way forward for his property. Whereas he has distant kinfolk, he notes they would not be capable of afford the inheritance tax.
