W Aspen is turning winter into a full-throttle celebration of adventure, luxury, and alpine energy. Set at the base of Aspen Mountain with true ski-in access and gorgeous views of the Rockies, the hotel is rolling out one of the most extravagant winter offerings in the country. From private heli-skiing to snowmobile-accessed dining, this season is all about elevating the classic Aspen experience.
At the center of it all is ‘W Aspen × Heli: Elevated Adventure’, the property’s signature high-altitude experience. Guests can choose between two cinematic winter escapes. The ‘Jet + Heli Combo’ launches travelers directly from Aspen’s runway into the backcountry, complete with a W-curated onboard breakfast, guided heli-skiing and an “Air Après” champagne service mid-flight on the return. For a more streamlined adventure, the ‘Direct Heli Experience’ offers a 45 to 55 minute flight over the Rockies followed by a full day of private heli-skiing with W-curated touches from start to finish.
Elevated winter experiences across Aspen
Before heading into the backcountry, guests can polish their form with The W Warm-Up, a luxe preparation experience that includes private ski instruction on Aspen Snowmass, expert gear fitting, and a champagne briefing to kick off the day.
W Aspen is also expanding its après and dining scene. In partnership with T Lazy 7 Ranch, the hotel debuts “Off the Menu,” an exclusive alpine dining experience that takes guests by snowmobile to the secluded Kodiak Lodge for a chef-prepared dinner, followed by a star-lit snowcat ride back to the hotel.
Back at the property, 39 Degrees transforms into an all-day indoor-outdoor après playground serving Alpine-inspired favorites like fondue, tartiflette and hearty soups alongside creative cocktails and local brews.
Pricing begins at $35,000 for up to seven guests.
