The top 15 things to do in Tempe, Arizona

While you might think of Arizona State University when you think of Tempe, there’s much more to the city.

ASU Gammage Auditorium, for example, was Frank Lloyd Wright’s last architectural design for a public building and is the perfect place to watch a Broadway play.

There is also Tempe Town Lake, which is an ideal spot for sailing, paddleboarding or simply lounging back by the water.

Depending on the time of year, there are also plenty of events at Tempe Town Lake. There’s the Tempe Town Lake Festival on the Fourth of July and the Ironman Arizona Triathlon in November.
