PANAMA CITY − There can be more to camping than just setting up a tent in the woods and sleeping on the ground.
Located on the east end of the Panama City Beach area in Bay County, St. Andrews State Park has rolled out new “glamping” sites, giving campers a way to enjoy the outdoors in style.

What is glamping, and how are the sites set up?
Glamping is an upgraded version of camping that involves accommodations more luxurious than what might be found at a traditional campsites.
The glamping sites at St. Andrews State Park include high-end tents set up on decks. They boast ungraded features, including actual beds, air conditioning and coffee markers.
Of the park’s luxurious sites, three are nestled along St. Andrew Bay’s shoreline, with three more located away from the water’s edge along a tree line.
What makes the sites special?
Each tent sleeps three people and features a queen bed, twin-sized cot, heating and air conditioning, coffee maker, ice chest and charging devices, an Adventures Unbound by Guest Services news release stated.
“We really do have all of the amenities in one singular location,” Tiffinie Harris, Adventures Unbound by Guest Services’ sales and catering coordinator, said about the campsites. “We also have kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkel tours and dolphin sunset tours.”
