A Singaporean vacationer suffered a bruised head when a dangling Christmas tree unexpectedly fell on him at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur mall.

The incident occurred on Monday whereas Julius Lee, 44, was taking pictures of his spouse and their youngster, as reported by The Straits Occasions. The household reportedly arrived in Malaysia on Dec. 20 to rejoice Christmas.

Lee’s spouse recounted that the mall’s hanging tree “all of a sudden got here crashing down on him.” She was relieved that their daughter, who was together with her on the time, was unhurt.

Following the incident, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s administration swiftly introduced Lee to a clinic for medical help and took speedy motion to take away the fallen ornament and safe the world, in accordance with the Malaysian information web site The Star.

The mall issued a press release expressing remorse over the incident and confirmed that Lee had acquired medical remedy. It assured a radical inspection of decorations to ensure the protection of its guests.

“Relaxation assured Pavilion KL will proceed to take all precautionary measures to make sure consumers benefit from the year-end festivity with peace of thoughts as security and safety stay our utmost precedence,” it said.
