British actor Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man premiered in Singapore final week. Those that managed to catch the movie might have seen a well-known face within the forged.
Native actor Mathi Alagan, whom many Singaporeans will bear in mind as Bhaskar Ram in Mediacorp long-form drama Tanglin (2015), or Sanjay Devaraj in Code Of Regulation (2012), performs a weapons supplier within the India-set action-thriller.
