A major new resort is coming to the Scottsdale area, and bookings are officially open: Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, located in Paradise Valley between Camelback and Mummy mountains, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning January 5, 2026, according to an announcement from the property.
The 40-acre project is a full redevelopment of the former Scottsdale Plaza Resort, following a multi-million-dollar overhaul When it opens, Miralina will be one of the largest resorts in the Kimpton portfolio — and the brand’s second Arizona property — debuting with 260 redesigned guestrooms and casitas, six pools, new restaurants, and a slate of wellness experiences.
The location is just minutes from Old Town Scottsdale while still tucked into one of the area’s most quiet and scenic enclaves. That blend of access and desert seclusion has long defined Paradise Valley’s appeal, and the new resort is positioning itself as a balance of both.

The property has 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, anchored by the new Horizon Pavilion with mountain views.
