Santa Claus is coming to Connecticut: Where to find him!


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s officially time for Christmas, meaning that the man with the big white beard will be available to meet all across Connecticut.

Santa Claus will be everywhere, from malls, to trains and town squares. Here’s some places you’ll be able to meet St. Nick this year, according to ctvisit.com.

Stamford Town Center, Stamford

Located in Stamford Town Center, the Holiday Wish Express is more than just a photo op with the Santa: it’s an immersive experience, complete with a virtual train ride, themed rooms and more.

Dates: Nov. 22 to Dec. 28.

Shoreline Trolley Museum, East Haven

Santa will be on his special trolley car at the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven! Santa’s elves will be there to make sure every child gets a free gift. The whole museum will be decked out with holiday cheer.

Dates: Nov. 29 to Dec. 21

Holiday Lighted Boat Parade, Mystic

Santa Claus is coming to town in Mystic, arriving by tugboat in historic downtown Mystic.

Date: Nov. 29

Connecticut Trolley Museum, East Windsor

The Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor is celebrating 40 years of holiday cheer with its annual Winterfest & Tunnel of Lights. The halls will be decked inside and outside with thousands of light bulbs, complete with trolley cars to transport guests as they sing Christmas carols.

Railroad Museum of New England, Thomaston

Passengers aboard the Santa Express at the Railroad Museum of New England in Thomaston will be able to visit Santa, play with elves and get a special gift from his toy bag.

Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouse, Greenwich

The Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Workshop is celebrating 17 years in 2025. Visitors can have a photo taken with Santa, meet the reindeer and also enjoy Santa’s Workshop.

Dates: Nov. 28 to Dec. 24

Danbury Railway Museum, Danbury

Visitors can take a ride in a vintage train through the historic railyard to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at “All Aboard the Snow Clipper” event in Danbury.

Landmark Square, Stamford

Santa Claus, Rudolph, Grinch and friends will make a daredevil descent, flying from the top of one of Stamford’s tallest buildings, Landmark Square. After they land, Santa and friends will go up Bedford Street to Latham Park for an evening of holiday music and join the countdown for the lighting of Stamford’s holiday tree.

Wickham Park, Manchester

Wickham Park in Manchester will turn into Santa’s log cabin this winter. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, elves making toys and more.

Dates: Dec. 13 to Dec. 23

Church Street, Torrington

A tradition in Torrington, 150 Church St. will turn into a Christmas Village. The place features individual rooms to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, a toy shop with elves at work, reindeer, seasonal lights and displays.
