Royal Caribbean is about to change the cruise game once again — this time by expanding its footprint on land.

Building on the success of Perfect Day at CocoCay, the cruise line’s signature private island destination in The Bahamas, Royal Caribbean is about to introduce a wave of new exclusive destinations over the next two years, including three new Royal Beach Clubs.

The first Royal Beach Club will open this December not far from CocoCay on Paradise Island, located near the Nassau, Bahamas cruise port. The new resort destination will offer Royal Caribbean cruisers the opportunity to upgrade their day in Nassau with an exclusive beach club experience.

New video offers sneak peek of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island

With less than a month to go until the Dec. 23 opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, Royal Caribbean shared a new sneak peek video of the new beach club on social media.

From how passengers get there to a look at the beaches and pools that await them, the video offers a glimpse of what cruisers can expect if they book a day pass for the new beach club.

As passengers get off the ship in Nassau, brightly colored water ferries will be waiting to shuttle them straight from the pier to Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Royal Caribbean partnered with a local Bahamian marine transportation company on the new fleet, which reflects the lively spirit of The Bahamas that will carry throughout the destination.

Once they arrive at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, passengers can find their beach day vibe across three different neighborhoods — Chill Beach, Family Beach, and Party Cove.

Highlights of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island include:

  • 17 acres of exclusive island resort

  • Three swim-up bars, including The Floating Flamingo, a more than 220-foot-long swim-up bar with a DJ at Party Cove

  • Three pools, including the zero-entry Shallow End pool at Family Beach that’s more than 9,000 square feet

  • Three Bahamian-inspired Paradise Grill dining venues offering island bites like Pinwheel Shrimp Skewers, Fire Engine Fritters, and a Crunchy Fish Sandwich

  • Two beaches: Family Beach and Chill Beach

What does a Royal Beach Club Paradise Island day pass cost?

Unlike Perfect Day at CocoCay, which is included with cruise fares, day passes are required to access Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.

Day passes include roundtrip water ferry transportation, all-inclusive food and drinks, WiFi, umbrellas and lounge chairs, lockers, towels, beach games, and island-style entertainment.

Visitors can choose between two day passes options:

  • An unlimited open bar and dining day pass

  • A non-alcoholic drinks and dining day pass

Royal Beach Club admission is free for children ages three and under.

Unlimited open bar and dining day passes currently start at $139.99 per person. Royal Caribbean is also offering opportunities to save on day passes with bundle options that include a Royal Beach Club day pass and a full cruise beverage package, or a full cruise beverage package and admission to Thrill Waterpark and Hideaway Beach in Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Day bed, cabana, and party deck rentals are also available for an upgraded experience at Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. These VIP options include multiple day passes.
