As the grand opening of Royal Caribbean’s first exclusive beach club approaches, the cruise line has been building anticipation for the beach days that cruise passengers will soon enjoy at the new Bahamas resort destination.
Social media sneak peek videos have offered a first look at the beaches, pools, and vibrant Bahamian atmosphere that await vacationers who book a day pass to enjoy Royal Beach Club Paradise Island on cruises to Nassau, Bahamas.
The cruise line even invited a lucky group of cruise passengers for a free preview of the new beach club on Dec. 15 ahead of its Dec. 23 grand opening.
But unfortunately, those cruise vacationers who were looking forward to being the first to experience Royal Beach Club Paradise Island just found out that their special sneak peek event has been canceled.

Royal Caribbean cancels first Royal Beach Club sneak peek event
Royal Caribbean broke the disappointing news in an email to Symphony of the Seas passengers who had RSVP’d for the preview event, which was planned for the ship’s Dec. 15 visit to Nassau.
“A few weeks ago, we invited you to be among the first to enjoy a special sneak peek of this brand-new destination,” Royal Caribbean wrote in the email, which was shared on social media and in the Royal Caribbean community on Reddit.
It turns out that the new beach club won’t be ready to welcome guests by Dec. 15.

“Construction is still in progress, and while the island is shaping up beautifully, it’s not quite ready for guests just yet. Our original plan was to have you help us experience everything Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will offer, but we want to make sure it meets the exceptional standards we’ve envisioned before opening it to you. This sneak peek was designed to be both fun and a chance for us to fine-tune every detail. That day is coming soon — but not during this sailing,” the cruise line’s email explained.
Although those passengers won’t get to enjoy the beach day they expected, Royal Caribbean is giving them some exclusive Royal Beach Club Paradise Island swag to thank them for their understanding.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island opening still set for Dec. 23
Despite the cancellation of the first preview event, Royal Caribbean hasn’t postponed the grand opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. As of Nov. 28, the opening date is still set for Dec. 23.
The new Bahamas beach club will offer passengers the opportunity to upgrade their day in Nassau by purchasing an all-inclusive day pass to visit the 17-acre Paradise Island resort. The exclusive destination pairs the beauty and spirit of The Bahamas with Royal Caribbean experiences.
