Noah and Joanne’s love story will continue! Netflix has renewed the popular rom-com series, Nobody Wants This, for a fourth season.
This exciting news comes just two weeks after Season 3 hit the streaming platform, which debuted on Oct. 22.
“We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run,” said series co-showrunners Erin Foster, Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan.

Netflix shared the news on its Instagram earlier today with a video of the proposal scene between Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, but instead of looking down at a ring, Bell is seen reacting to the words, “Season 4 is coming!” She ran to the announcement while another text popped up on her back saying, “Me telling the whole internet about it.”
Bell, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, and more reposted the video on their personal accounts, with their own celebratory messages.
“Great love stories never go out of style, and Nobody Wants This has become a true cultural phenomenon,” said Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s vice president of comedy series, US. “This incredible creative team has built a show that grows with its audience, and our members around the world have embraced it season after season. We cannot be more excited for Season 4.”
Nobody Wants This premiered in 2024. It’s loosely based on the real-life love story of the series creator, Erin Foster, and her husband, Simon Tikhman. Although Tikhman is not a rabbi (he’s an entertainment executive and music manager), Foster did convert to Judaism before marrying him.
Season 3 was filled with big changes and storylines that fans definitely want to see fleshed out, like: Will Joanne and Noah be able to plan a wedding without his overbearing mother’s suggestions making their way in? Can Morgan and Sasha really maintain a platonic relationship after what happened in New York? Is Esther actually happy dating outside of her marriage to Sasha?
Fans will be anxiously waiting for answers to all of these questions and more in the upcoming season.
