Miranda Kerr ‘Seriously Considered’ Walking VS Fashion Show Until She Said ‘No’

Miranda Kerr‘s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show comeback came much closer to happening than fans knew. The former Angel says she “seriously considered” returning to the runway for the 2026 show. Kerr initially felt excited about revisiting that chapter of her career. However, after thinking it over, the 43-year-old realized that returning in lingerie no longer felt right for her.

Miranda Kerr shares why she refused walking Victoria’s Secret fashion show

Kerr explained her decision on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, around the 38:11 mark. She recalled feeling excited when Victoria’s Secret invited her back, especially after recently enjoying another runway experience.

The model had just returned to the runway for Stella McCartney at Paris Fashion Week. Kerr said that show felt elegant and aligned with where she was in life.

Victoria’s Secret initially sparked similar excitement. Kerr remembered the fun she had during her years with the brand and imagined returning to the runway with former colleagues. However, her feelings changed when she pictured the actual moment.

Kerr said she began thinking about standing onstage in her underwear at 43 as a mother of four boys. She described feeling a persistent “knot” in her stomach. Even meditation failed to ease it.

Then she considered one simple alternative: not doing the show. Kerr said the knot immediately released, which gave her the answer she needed.

The new explanation adds more context to Kerr’s earlier decision. Shortly after the October 18 show, she revealed that she had declined Victoria’s Secret’s invitation to return. At the time, she said she wanted to cherish that part of her career as it was.

Kerr also faced encouragement from people around her to reconsider. Still, she trusted her reaction and decided against the comeback.

The invitation carried extra significance because 2026 marked 20 years since Kerr first walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2006. She ultimately appeared in six shows, with her final runway walk for the brand coming in 2012.

Despite declining the invitation, Kerr stressed that she felt honored by it. For her, the decision was less about rejecting Victoria’s Secret and more about recognizing that she is now at a different stage of her life.
