Lucy DeVito and Lizzy Caplan are teaming up as sisters whose criminal scheme goes hilariously wrong in their new movie.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, Briarcliff Entertainment released the trailer for DeVito and Caplan’s upcoming thriller Drag, in which the pair play sisters whose plans to rob a home unravel when Caplan’s character injures her back. The duo find themselves trapped inside a luxurious house owned by their would-be victim (played by John Stamos), who appears to be entertaining a date (Christine Ko). With one sister barely able to move, the pair must figure out how to escape without getting caught.
“Two sisters with a contentious relationship decide to rob a rural home in upstate New York,” reads an official synopsis for the movie. “The simple robbery turns into a nightmare when one of them throws out her back and becomes immobilized on the second floor. The night spirals out of control as they embark on a painful journey to make it out before the homeowner returns.”

Lucy, 43, produced the new movie alongside her father, Danny DeVito, and brother, Jake DeVito. (Danny, 81, shares Lucy, Jake, 39, and daughter Grace with Rhea Perlman.)
“You know, we’re so supportive of each other,” Lucy told PEOPLE in March of her family’s involvement in the movie, which premiered at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin. “Drag was a family affair working with my dad and my brother. And, my mom, my sister, they’re in L.A. rooting us on. And, you know, my husband and everyone. It was a family collaboration.”
Lucy also shared at the time that she and Caplan “got each other” immediately when they began working together.
“We both talked about our kids a lot, and, you know, growing up in L.A. and living in New York and all that, so it was just really fun.”
