If you live in the Golden State, the happiest place on earth has a deal for you.
On Wednesday, December 3, Disneyland officially opened sales for its new California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket Offer, a limited-time promotion that drops the cost of a three-day visit to $249 total. Break that down, and eligible residents can enter the parks for $83 per person, per day — a rare price point considering regular 1-day Park Hopper tickets can reach $314 on peak dates.
Details at a Glance:
-
Price: $249 total for a 3-Day Park Hopper (about $83/day)
-
Who qualifies: California residents
-
Valid for visits: Jan. 1–May 21, 2026
-
Ticket type: Park Hopper; nonconsecutive days allowed
-
Park hopping: Begins at 11 a.m., subject to capacity
-

-

The offer is simple once you understand how it works. Californians can buy a 3-day Park Hopper for a flat $249 and use those three park days anytime between January 1 and May 21, 2026. The days do not need to be consecutive, and you can hop between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure after 11 a.m. as long as the park isn’t at capacity. A version of the deal that includes Lightning Lane Multi Pass is also available for $351 total, which breaks down to roughly $117 per day.

Since this is a resident-only deal, there are rules. Buyers must show proof of California residency (ID required at purchase and again at the gate). Theme park reservations are still required for each visit, and those reservations come from a limited pool set aside specifically for this deal. Disneyland warns that reservations “may be difficult to get for particular dates,” especially closer to the ticket’s May 21 expiration.
The timing of the deal is notable. It arrives shortly after Disney raised admission prices for major holidays at its U.S. theme parks, part of the company’s ongoing shift toward demand-based pricing. In a statement obtained by Reuters, Disney said, “Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone remains at the heart of what we do — and that will never change.”

It also comes as Disneyland continues celebrating its 70th anniversary, with expanded entertainment and new experiences rolling out over the next year. Earlier announcements confirmed that Bluey’s Best Day Ever!, a new live-show themed around the hit children’s series, will debut at the resort on March 22, 2026.
For California residents, this offer is one of the steepest discounts Disneyland has rolled out in recent years, especially as standard prices continue to climb. With the ability to spread visits across nearly five months, hop between parks, and save more than half off regular multi-day Park Hopper rates, it’s likely to move fast.
