When is Leeds Festival?
Taking place simultaneously with its sister festival in Reading, Leeds Festival will happen over the Bank Holiday weekend, starting Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August 2026.
Held in the remote location of Bramham Park in Wetherby, the venue can be accessed by train, car and bus. If you’re wondering how to get to Leeds Festival, whether for a day or the entire weekend, here are the best routes available.
Travel to Leeds Festival by train
The nearest major train station to the festival site is Leeds. From here it’s a half-hour drive to Bramham Park, with free shuttle buses operating back and forth from the station to the site.
There are regular services from nearby major cities. The train from Newcastle and Liverpool takes approximately 1h 25m, while it’s less than an hour from Manchester and Sheffield. From London King’s Cross, it’s a two-hour journey.
Owing to it being a busy weekend over a Bank Holiday, it’s advisable to book tickets in advance. Keep in mind that the last trains of the night are often the busiest, with many day ticket holders trying to get home.
Travel to Leeds Festival by bus
The Big Green Coach company is the official bus travel provider for Leeds Festival. It operates from locations around the UK.
How do I get tickets?
Tickets went on sale in December. At the time of going to press, tickets are available to book for day or weekend passes. Day tickets start from £125, while weekend camping passes start from £325. Overnight camping is available for weekend ticket holders only.

What should I bring?
Although it may be summer, the British weather is unpredictable and it’s not uncommon for bright blue skies to give way to bouts of rain at this time of year.
Therefore, it’s advisable to pack for all eventualities, checking your preferred weather website before the festival for the latest updates. Wellies are always suitable for rainy days, while boots are protective for feet. Be sure to include sunscreen, wet wipes, medicines and a bottle of water to refill and stay hydrated on your visit.
