Heidi Klum teased her 2026 Halloween costume by sharing a close-up photo of what seems to be an extravagant prosthetic

Heidi Klum is preparing to undergo another complete transformation for her annual spooky soirée this year.
One week before her Halloween party takes place in New York City, the supermodel, 53, shared a glimpse of the costume she has been working on for this year.
“What’s my costume?🤪,” she asked on Instagram alongside a close-up image of what seems to be an extravagant prosthetic that will likely make her look unrecognizable. “One week to go…”
Klum also shared a short video to her Instagram Stories showing herself browsing the aisles of a store filled with thousands of fabrics.

In September, the queen of Halloween told PEOPLE that she was already hard at work planning her next big costume. While she didn’t reveal her exact plans, she did tease that it would be a “very bloody” look that “goes very well with red wine.”
For the 25th anniversary of her popular Halloween bash in 2025, Klum stepped out as the mythological Medusa. In addition to having her entire body covered in green scales, her costume featured a long tail and moving snakes that replaced her hair.

“HAPPY HEIDIWEEN 🐍,” she captioned an Instagram reel showing off the costume. “Don’t stare too long or you’ll turn to stone.”
To make the costume even better, her husband, Tom Kaulitz, showed up to the party dressed as a Greek soldier turned to stone. According to Greek mythology, anyone who looks upon the hideous Medusa turns to stone.

“I think he looks super hot,” Klum told PEOPLE of her husband’s costume.
Since throwing her inaugural Halloween party in 2000, Klum has brought some of the most incredible costumes to life, including her version of a worm, Princess Fiona, a cadaver and, in 2016, a clone of herself.
“I always try to find things that people naturally wouldn’t do,” she told PEOPLE in 2023. “Most people do nurses or police officers, but I was always looking for something that I hadn’t seen.”
