The 48-year-old Aleria was using his bike within the early hours of Dec. 20 when he encountered the python because it emerged from the grass onto the street, reported The Straits Occasions.

He initially stopped his bike to let the snake cross, nevertheless, the scenario shortly escalated when the python began attacking him, biting his hand and arm, and coiling round his waist.

“I assumed I used to be going to die if I didn’t battle again,” the person spoke to native media.

Footage from the hospital confirmed the extent of his accidents, with a bandaged bloody arm and blood on his face. He has since been discharged to get well at house.

The stays of the python have been grilled and consumed by native villagers, stated Aleria.
