As if any golfer needs even more reasons to visit Pebble Beach Resorts in California: The Lodge at Pebble Beach has reopened after an extensive renovation that includes a reimagining of Stillwater restaurant.
The design highlights of Stillwater include a wraparound main dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a central bar with ocean views, vaulted ceilings with brick arches and a glass-enclosed wine room. The restaurant also features a private dining room that includes a suspended ceramic sculpture of a school of fish.

Stillwater’s executive chef, Benjamin Brown, and chef de cuisine Alex Ramirez have refreshed the menu, drawing inspiration from the Monterey Peninsula region’s farms and fisheries. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It’s all part of a renovation that included the golf-inspired Tap Room, which reopened in October, and the Bench, which overlooks No. 18 of Pebble Beach Golf Links and reopened in June. The Lodge offers a range of luxurious rooms and suites at one of the best golf resorts in the world, featuring four 18-hole courses – including three that rank among the best public-access courses in the U.S. – plus The Hay short course.
