Expedia is practically giving away hotel rooms for 2026 during epic flash sale

You’ve likely heard of Giving Tuesday, the nickname of the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. However, those who have the wanderlust gene may be excited to learn that the day has another nickname—at least where Expedia is concerned—and it’s perfect for anyone hoping to snag a deal on vacation plans.

That’s because Expedia is offering shoppers great deals on hotels as part of its Travel Tuesday savings, with discounts as high as 50 percent off in some instances. But the deals won’t last for long, so hopeful travelers will need to book ASAP if they want to take advantage of the deals.

Expedia slashes prices on hotel rooms for a Tuesday flash sale

Those looking to book a getaway should hop on Expedia’s website to check out some of the deals the online booking agency is sharing. That’s because some room prices are cut in half during the Dec. 2 sale, allowing travelers to save big time on room rentals.

And, Expedia isn’t just cutting prices on locations that don’t typically see a lot of action, either. It looks like the price reduction includes some popular destinations as well, including:

  • Hyatt Grand Central, New York, where you can get rooms as low as $191 a night

  • The LINQ Hotel & Casino – A Caesars Rewards Destination, Las Vegas, where travelers can get rooms for as low as $33 a night

  • The Grove Resort & Water Park, Orlando, where you can book a room for just $66 a night

  • Cooper Hotel and Conference Center & Spa, Dallas, where you can book rooms as low as $131 a night

Expedia’s Travel Tuesday sale also covers some flights

Those looking to maximize their travel savings may want to see what Expedia has to offer by way of package deals. That’s because the discount booking site is also discounting some popular bundles for travelers heading to Cabo, which include things like:

  • Grad Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa + Flight, for $2,004 per traveler

  • Altitude by Krystal Grand Los Cabos All Inclusive + Flight, for $1,906 per traveler

  • Condo Cortes + Flight, for $1,670 per traveler

  • Hard Rock Hotel Lost Cabos All Inclusive + Flight, for $2,507 per traveler

Expedia’s flash sale features some other travel perks

Travel Tuesday appears to mean more than just discounted hotel and flight prices, according to the company’s website, since they are also advertising some additional perks for travelers which include a generous cancellation policy. Of course, you’ll want to read the fine print of any package before you book, since some hotels have their own rules and regulations when it comes to cancellations.

Want to take advantage of Expedia’s deals? You’ll need to sign on and book something before midnight on Tuesday in order to take advantage of the deals. But don’t worry, it looks like the packages extend all the way through the end of 2026, so just because you book today it doesn’t mean you have to pack your bags quite yet.

All prices listed are current as of the time of publication.
