Choi Jong-hoon, beforehand a member of the South Korean band FT Island, has initiated a comeback by launching his personal channel, HUNIYA, on Japan’s Fanicon platform after a five-year hiatus.

Choi’s resolution to hitch Fanicon has generated combined reactions, with many believing that he shouldn’t return to the general public eye following the scandal.
Choi was launched on parole in November 2021. He was arrested in 2019 on allegations of secretly filming and sexually assaulting girls. Publish-release, he faces a five-year restriction from working with minors.
