Consider it a Travel Tuesday miracle: Disneyland released its full 2026 calendar, including dates for annual festivals and seasonal events – plus the in-park debut of Bluey, the animated Australian dog beloved the world over, who is set to make her first Disneyland appearance on March 22, 2026. But for California residents planning trips for the coming months, the biggest news might just be the massive ticket deal the park just announced.
Starting Dec. 3, Disneyland plans to offer its annual California resident ticket offer. For $249, California residents can purchase three-day park hopper tickets to use between Jan. 1, 2026, and May 21, 2026. It’s more than 50% off the park’s regular rates.
Disneyland prices its tickets on a tiered system, dictated by highest and lowest attendance. A one-day park hopper ticket on a tier six day (the most expensive) is $314. On a tier zero day, the least expensive tier, that ticket costs $174. Three of those tier zero tickets, which are usually only available midweek during less busy months, would total $522. A three-day park hopper ticket, which can be used on any tier day but must be fully used within 13 days of the first visit, costs $535.
Either way, the new deal offers a massive discount. The other upside to the California resident ticket deal is that the single-day visits can be spread out from January to May, instead of sticking to that 14-day window for regular multiday tickets.
For those hoping the resident part might be loosely enforced, it’s not – guests must show proof of residency at the park when using the ticket for the first time.
Disneyland also announced a second ticket deal, which is expected to start on Jan. 21, 2026. The Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer – which is not limited to California residents – offers $50 one-day park hopper tickets for kids ages 3 to 9. Kids under 3 years old don’t need a ticket to enter the parks. That ticket deal is valid on visits between May 22, 2026, and Sept. 7, 2026.
In addition to the ticket deals, Disneyland announced the return dates of beloved annual events like Lunar New Year (Jan. 23-Feb. 22), the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (March 6-April 27), Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort (Aug. 21-Oct. 31) and the holiday season, which is set to start on Nov. 18, 2026.
