Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is preparing for another change to its growing collection of airline and credit card lounges.
The latest development will bring a major new player into one of the airport’s busiest lounge areas, but the project also requires several existing operators to move before construction can get underway.
For frequent flyers passing through Seattle, the changes could affect both the premium lounges available and the location of an existing shared-use option.

The proposed location is on Concourse A, next to Delta’s lounge complex, which includes its Delta One Lounge.
The facility will cover approximately 16,000 square feet, making it one of the larger locations in Chase’s growing airport lounge network. Chase plans to invest $70 million in the initial construction and a midterm refurbishment, according to View From the Wing.
The agreement with AD Partnership, operating through Airport Dimensions, carries a 15-year lease. The Port’s official commission memorandum estimates annual rental revenue of approximately $7.9 million, based on an initial rate of $500 per square foot per year.
The Port said the arrangement would “provide lounge capacity to serve passenger growth” while generating higher commercial revenue without requiring additional unplanned investment from the airport.

United Club and The Club at SEA Relocations Clear Concourse A
The new Chase location will occupy the current space used by The Club at SEA on Concourse A, together with an adjacent area originally intended for that lounge’s expansion.

That creates a sequence of relocations:
-
United Club: United is developing a new lounge on Concourse B in the space of the former Centurion Lounge.
-
The Club at SEA: Once United leaves its existing Concourse A location, The Club is expected to move into that space.
-
Chase Sapphire Lounge: Chase will then take over The Club’s current location and the adjoining expansion area.
The Port’s commission memorandum also warns that there could be a short period when no shared-use lounge is available on Concourse A during the transition.
