SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Skiing in Utah doesn’t have to break the bank. The world-class powder and iconic slopes are still accessible at affordable prices.
Here are some of the best deals on lift tickets and passes in the Beehive State:
Brian Head Resort
Brian Head Resort, the first resort to open in Utah this season, has great prices on night skiing and lift tickets.
The Blackfoot Lift at Brian Head Resort is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are as low as $9 on select dates. Skiers and snowboarders who order lift tickets early online can also receive special deals with some lift ticket as low as $14 during the week.
At Brian Head Resort, all kids 12 and under ski for free.
Brighton Resort
Named USA Today’s #1 best place for snowboarding, Brighton Resort is home to some of the best snow on earth.
Riders can skip peak season and ride shoulder seasons only at Brighton Resort with the Flex Pass. The pass costs $199 and includes early and late season access.
Looking to hit the slopes after work or school? Night skiing at Brighton starts at $51 and is valid Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to close. This season, there are eight additional night runs.
Cherry Peak Resort
Located in the Cherry Canyon, Cherry Peak Resort is a great option for skiing on a budget.
Adult day passes start at $55, with BOGO upgrades available if you purchase tickets for more than one day. Additionally, a three-day pass is $165 and has no blackout dates and access to all lifts on the mountain.
Nordic Valley Resort
Famous for its ski school, intermediate and advanced slopes, and family friendly atmosphere, Nordic Valley Resort is a great option for skiing at a low price.
Lift passes at Nordic Valley are as low as $15 a day. The resort shared that the earlier a pass is bought, the cheaper it is.
All kids 12 and under ski for free at the resort with the Kids Pass. The Kids Pass gives kids unlimited access to Nordic Valley and 11 other mountains.
Powder Mountain Resort
Just 70 minutes from Salt Lake City is Powder Mountain Resort with wide open terrain and short lines.
People who book 14 days in advance will receive the best deals on single day passes. An all-day pass starts at $75, and the night skiing starts at $24. Night skiing is valid from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
