There’s truly nothing quite like the rush of landing in Orlando for a Disney vacation, knowing that castle views, pool afternoons, and warm churros are only a short drive away.
But before the magic can actually begin, reality often sets in at the bottom of the airport escalator: waiting around a crowded carousel at baggage claim, wrangling heavy suitcases onto resort transport, and hauling bags up to your hotel room. If you’ve been crossing your fingers for Disney to bring back the seamless, hands-free travel days of the past, your next arrival day just got significantly lighter.
Walt Disney World has officially expanded its complimentary Airport Luggage Transfer service to three more beloved properties: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort (including Gran Destino Tower), Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—French Quarter, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort—Riverside.

This major 5,500-room addition means that the free perk now covers every single Value and Moderate Resort across the entire Walt Disney World resort. Per Disney’s announcement, the expansion opens up airport luggage delivery to significantly more resort guests flying into MCO.
The way the service works on your arrival day feels like pure theme park wizardry. If you’re flying domestically into Orlando on American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, or United Airlines, you simply register online anywhere from 30 days up to five days before your trip. You check your bags normally at your home airport’s ticket counter or curbside drop, hop on your flight, and completely bypass baggage claim once you touch down at MCO. While your luggage is securely transported straight to your resort, you can board your ground transportation and head directly into the parks or relax by the pool. Once you get to your room, a quick call to Bell Services or a stop at Luggage Assistance gets your bags delivered right to your door.

Theme park site Mickey Visit shared their hands-on experience using the feature: “…Disney Bell Services delivered our luggage directly to our resort hotel room, so our bags were inside the room when we arrived. This process was extremely convenient, especially since we had plans to go directly to Disney Springs after we arrived at the airport. This also saved us the cost of having to book an Uber XL to transport all our luggage to the resort.”
The perk is just as effortless on the journey back home, too. Between 24 hours and four hours before your departure flight, you can drop your bags off directly with Luggage Assistance at your resort lobby. They handle checking your luggage with your airline for you, meaning you can head to Orlando International Airport completely unencumbered, breeze through security, and simply retrieve your suitcases at your final destination’s carousel.
With the service now live across all nine Value and Moderate properties—including Pop Century, Art of Animation, the All-Star resorts, and Caribbean Beach—travelers get to maximize every precious vacation hour without feeling tethered to their luggage.
