Holland America Line’s second annual ‘Great HALiday Giveaway’ is now underway. Running now through December 16, 2025, the giveaway will award gift cards, cruises, and one full world cruise.
I’ve been on one Holland America Line cruise before, and doing a world cruise is definitely a bucket list item for me. So, I had to look into this giveaway to see what it’s all about.
Tanya Morell, vice president of marketing at Holland America Line, told me, “This is our way of saying thank you to our loyal guests and welcoming new travelers to Holland America Line. There’s never been a better time to start dreaming about your next cruise.”

How it works is simple. Simply go to the Great HALiday Giveaway websiteonce each day from now through December 16, and you can enter each day to win prizes and offers. For every day you enter, you will get a new chance to win the grand prize: a Grand Voyage for two in 2026 or 2027. Other possible prizes include cruises to Europe, Alaska, and other popular destinations.

Guests on certain Holland America Line cruises can enjoy relaxing beach days.

The website is designed to maximize fun. It is reminiscent of a traditional advent calendar. You’ll be prompted to enter your details and click on a “door” that then reveals which prize is up for grabs that day.

You can see mountains, beaches, and many other gorgeous sites on Holland America Line cruises.

There’s also a deal available to all cruises that doesn’t depend on winning a prize. Holland America Line is gifting $25 deposits to those who enter the giveaway. After you enter, you’ll get an offer code that you can then use toward booking your next cruise. These cruises must be booked by December 31, 2025, for the code to be valid.

Alaska cruises are a popular option at Holland America Line.
