Sometimes the sudden onset of winter can catch us off guard, especially when the season hasn’t officially arrived yet.
One sweet German Shepherd just tasted Mother Nature’s frosty side when he stuck his head out the window and got a face full of snow.
In an adorable clip uploaded to TikTok, we get to see Enzo, one “cool” canine, looking like something straight out of Frozen. Take a peek and prepare to say, “Oh, no, poor Enzo!”
“I warned him that the branches are low,” Enzo’s family captioned the clip.
Fortunately, Enzo takes it like a champ and doesn’t seem to mind one bit.

Viewers adored seeing this gorgeous canine get a “cool” surprise.
“It… it cold, Papa,” one viewer imagined Enzo’s reporting from the wild.
“He’s like, ‘Whatever, it was worth it,'” another joked.
“His face, ‘What snow. I don’t know what you’re talking about,'” someone else wrote.

Enzo is definitely taking a “nothing to see here” approach to this chilly mishap.
We’re just glad he didn’t get poked in the eye by one of those branches!

Do Dogs Love Snow?
Children love snow for the fun of building a snowman and sledding, and then, of course, if there’s enough of it, they may get the day off from school. Bonus!
Adults might enjoy it if they have the chance to go skiing or snowboarding, or if they can stay inside by the fire. Anything but shoveling, right?
But how do dogs feel about it?
Some, like Enzo, enjoy it. Why? Experts say it creates a novel sensory experience for them. That makes sense. It appeals to them in the same way swimming might. Smaller dogs and those without thicker coats may tremble in the snow and prefer to stay indoors.
Booties for pups have become popular to protect paws from rock salt and the chill. Experts also found that dogs have good blood flow to their feet, and so those paws may be warmer than we think!
We hope Enzo gets to spend a lot more time enjoying the snow on his own terms.
