9 New Trader Joe’s Finds We’re Buying Before They Disappear

Trader Joe’s dropped more than 100 limited-edition fall items in September, but that’s not where the seasonal surprises end. This month, the beloved grocery chain is introducing items such as easy frozen dinners, an already viral protein for meal prep, and a side you might want to serve on Thanksgiving.

As we enter the season of holiday parties and potlucks, Trader Joe’s is making entertaining a little easier. Add the store’s new charcuterie options and a festive nonalcoholic beverage to your next party spread.

Ahead, you’ll find nine additions to the Trader Joe’s lineup that we can’t wait to snag on our next grocery run. True to form, they’re all affordable, with a majority of the store’s new items ringing in for under $5. However, most of these are only available for a limited time, so you should grab them while you can.

Trader Joe’s original frozen kimbap practically flew off shelves when it first arrived in stores in 2023, and we’d expect the same from this Spicy Pork Kimbap. It’s also in the freezer aisle and features tender pork coated in a sweet-and-spicy gochujang marinade. Vegetables like carrots, spinach, and pickled radish add a welcome note of freshness to this easy lunch. You can snag this find for $5.

When you’re traveling for the holidays, it’s hard to keep fresh groceries in stock without letting anything go to waste. That makes it the perfect time of year to have one of Trader Joe’s frozen pastas on hand. The chain’s new Sweet Corn Ravioli doubles down on corn and dairy: It’s filled with creamy ricotta and sweet corn, then coated in a corn sauce. You’ll get two servings in each $4.50 package.

This vivid red sausage will be on all of our charcuterie boards during the holiday season. TJ’s new Spicy Ibérico Uncured Chorizo, made in Spain, costs just $8 for a 7-ounce link. Seasoned simply with lots of smoked paprika, garlic, and salt, this offering will be available only through the end of the year. As Trader Joe’s points out on its website, the store also offers plenty of other Spanish appetizers — ranging from Tortilla Española to Manzanilla Olives — to serve alongside it.

The most memorable cheese boards include something a little unexpected. Surprise your guests this Thanksgiving with a sweet-and-salty addition to the cheese selection. Trader Joe’s Sticky Toffee Cheddar is studded with raisins, dates, and pieces of toffee. A mild English cheddar complements the toffee’s nutty notes surprisingly well, and at $12 per pound, this cheese won’t break the bank.

If the Sweet Corn Ravioli isn’t quite your speed, there’s another pasta option coming to the freezer aisle this month. The Sausage and Broccolini Rigatoni Pasta covers all the bases: Italian sausage adds protein with a little kick of heat, while broccolini, ricotta, Parmesan, and rigatoni round out the dish. This convenient meal heats in the microwave in just a few minutes. You’ll also get 2.5 servings for the accessible price of $8.

Trader Joe’s offers several very popular frozen dumplings — such as the Pork & Ginger Soup Dumplings and Chicken Gyoza Pot Stickers — and a new option is joining the lineup. The Hane Style Beef Gyoza are filled with a ground-beef and shiitake-mushroom mixture seasoned with green onions, rice wine, and soy sauce. These dumplings also develop a crispy, lacy skirt as they cook. Each package includes 12 dumplings for $3.69.

This new Trader Joe’s find has quickly gone viral online, and it’s easy to understand why. The bag of ready-to-eat, perfectly jammy boiled eggs streamlines meal prep and removes the guesswork of trying to nail a jammy egg at home. Chino Valley Ranchers The Jammy Egg is one of the rare additions to TJ’s inventory that isn’t sold under the store’s private label. Fortunately, that doesn’t make it cost-prohibitive: A bag of four eggs costs $4, or $1 apiece.

Round out your holiday bar cart this year with a festive non-alcoholic option. This Sparkling Apple Elderflower Juice contains no added sugar, so it won’t overpower your Thanksgiving dishes with sweetness. Trader Joe’s notes that it pairs well with poultry and stuffing, and you could even use it as a mixer with spirits to make seasonal cocktails. At $4 per bottle, it’s easy to stock up on this festive find for the entire season.
