Relationships are not always easy, and when it’s celebrity relationships, it gets even harder. You’re basically dealing with difficult schedules, messy feelings, and tricky life situations under the microscope of the media. So when something goes wrong, everyone knows about it.
That’s probably the reason not a lot of celebrity relationships last forever, and when it comes to celebrity marriages, it’s more likely to be till the first big scandal hits than “till death do us part.” However, there are a few couples who have beat the odds so far and chose to stay together even after cheating scandals. Let’s take a look at how they did it.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo
You could never call Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo a conventional couple. They’re known for their unique relationship that’s not exactly open, but also not strictly monogamous. They’re all about honesty and communication, so when the news of Jelly Roll’s affair hit, it was rough. They even split up for a brief time in 2018. Jelly Roll called it one of the worst moments of his life, but they managed to work through this and rebuild their trust. It wasn’t easy, but guess what? They’re still together.
Kevin Hart and Eniko Hart
In 2017, Kevin Hart found himself in a significant amount of trouble. What happened while he was in Las Vegas, in fact, did not stay in Vegas. He was being blackmailed with a video of his infidelity, so he posted a video on Instagram apologizing to his then-pregnant wife. Later, in his Netflix series, his wife talked about that scandal and how hurt she was by his actions. But she said she chose to stay and work it out because she believed in second chances. It seems like they were successful in overcoming this problem because almost a decade later—they’re still happily married.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were quite a couple, weren’t they? They’ve been through so much together, they managed to live not only through Ozzy’s crazy rock star days but also through their weird family reality TV show. They fought and argued a lot, but they also loved each other deeply. However, they did have a massive scandal when it came to light that Ozzy was having an affair with his hairstylist for years. Sharon said she almost divorced Ozzy when she found out. But in the end, Ozzy went into therapy for sex addiction, and Sharon took him back, saying that she chose to forgive him, but trust will take a while to get back. However, they’ve been together for 36 years, and she just couldn’t imagine her life without him, and she didn’t want to throw away their life together. They stayed together until the end. Ozzy, unfortunately, passed away in 2025.
Bill and Hillary Clinton
It’s hard to find a bigger relationship scandal than that of Bill and Hillary Clinton. We’re talking about Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky, of course. Bill denied it for a long time but finally admitted that the relationship was wrong in 1998. Hillary later wrote in her memoir “What Happened” that she chose to stay married to Bill because after asking herself all the hard questions, she realized that yes, she still loved him. Decades later, these two are still going strong.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z
Rumors of Jay-Z’s infidelity have been circulating for a very long time, even before he and Beyoncé made it official. You’d think that being with someone as incredible as Queen B would put an end to infidelity, but it seems like that wasn’t the case for Jay-Z. The rumors continued, and the biggest acknowledgment of his infidelity didn’t come out in the press, it was in Beyoncé’s album Lemonade. She managed to pour her pain into creativity, and the result was incredibly powerful. Jay-Z admitted his mistakes in his album 4:44. He said that the hardest thing for him was seeing the pain he caused to his wife. Both of them addressing his cheating through music was possibly the most unusual way to break the news to the world. But they’re still together, so they must’ve found a way to make it work after all.
Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum
Dave Grohl, once known as the nicest guy in rock, faced a shocking revelation in September 2024 when his wife, Jordyn Blum, revealed on his Instagram that he had fathered a child outside of their marriage. He also said that he loves his wife and his family, and he will try his best to rebuild their trust. His wife, Jordyn Blum, was understandably shocked and incredibly hurt, and her first instinct was to get a divorce, but after a couple of weeks of thinking, she wasn’t sure that divorcing was the right move because that would influence their children too.
They’ve been talking about trying to mend their relationship and build trust ever since. Dave has disclosed that he attends therapy six times a week, and upon calculating, he discovered that he has completed 430 therapy sessions and continues to do so. There have been no fairytale announcements of “we’ve succeeded and are stronger than ever,” so clearly the couple is still dealing with the aftermath of Dave’s cheating privately. But hey, they haven’t divorced yet.
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo
Adam Levine’s cheating scandal was unusual in the sense that people argued over whether it was cheating or not. Instagram model Summer Stroh basically said that she’s been having an affair with Adam Levine for a year. And Adam denied any sort of physical relationship but admitted that he crossed a line and communicated inappropriately and flirtatiously online with someone who isn’t his wife. Whichever way you lean in that debate, it was still hurtful and embarrassing for his wife Behati Prinsloo. And why would you even look the other way when your wife is a Victoria’s Secret Angel, huh, Adam?
But it seems like they managed to overcome this weird and shameful chapter in their relationship and remain married.
David Letterman and Regina Lasko
David Letterman had one of the craziest scandal reveals on live TV. In 2009, during one of his shows, he delivered a monologue revealing that someone was blackmailing him for some terrible things he had done. He admitted that he’s been having sex with women who worked with him on his show. The following shows he made another monologue with an apology to his staff, because they were now being harassed by the press. He also apologized to his wife, because while he says these incidents were in the past, she was still very much hurt by this whole situation. He stated that when you cause harm to someone, it is your duty to rectify it, and he has a significant task ahead of him. It looks like he managed to fix it because they’re still married.
